In order to celebrate and promote the School’s values and code of conduct, we have 5 house teams. These are:

These were decided upon by a whole school vote.

Children are assigned a house and throughout the year they compete for house points in order to win the House Cup. House points are awarded for exemplary behaviour both in class and around the school, sporting achievements and progress in residential.

House points can be awarded by any member of staff who feels that a child has demonstrated these values. A running total is regularly announced during assembly and the scores are displayed on the house board in the main corridor.

Post 16 students are involved in counting and collecting house points. They act as house team captains and are expected to be role models for younger pupils. We have events throughout the year where the whole school get together in their teams to complete activities, sometimes there are competitions such as sports day or Children in Need where teams compete against each other.
